The Reveal

This adorable guest house is perfect for two people. Private bath with amazing outdoor shower. Access to rowboat, 2 kayaks and a canoe. Great fishing lake. We added a small kitchen in a large shed with keuric, micro, small fridge, induction heater and toaster. There is a gas grill next to the kitchen. Wood burning sauna connected to guest house. In warmer weather there are rafts and floats for lake enjoyment. Of course this is besides the kayaks, row boat and canoe!

Husband and I have been together for 20 years. We moved to NE PA 15years ago from outside philly. We bought this lake front property in 2017 and have done extensive additions to the acre plus property with 330 feet of lake front property. Our guest house is a stand alone building with its own private bathroom and amazing outside shower. The house overlooks the lake. Amenities include small kitchenette, a wood burning sauna, in-line hot water heater and access to canoe, rowboat and two kayaks.

My partner and I had an amazing stay with John and Joe! Though the property itself was very lovely on its own—surrounded by nature with great amenities—the trip was made even better by the company of the hosts! They were both super considerate, kind, and generous with their time and space. John is a great cook and both are easy conversationalists. We also loved their adorable pups! Highly recommend a stay on the lake with John and Joe!

John & Joe were very welcoming and gracious. They were super flexible with my late arrival time, and even sent a video of how the path to the cabin bc they knew it'd be very dark. Super thoughtful! The cabin was expertly built by John himself who is a contractor, and it had most of the creature comforts. There was a second cabin with a full kitchen also at my disposal. There was no A/C, but I didn't need it on the cool nights I was there. If I'm ever back this was, I'd gladly stay here again!

What a great place for serenity! The property on the lakefront was very enjoyable. The cottage as well as the kitchen, outdoor shower and sauna were excellent. John and Joe are nice guys -- friendly and informative! Their hospitality made for a great stay. And it shows that they put in small details in the accommodation which made it feel comfortable. We had a great time and enjoyed being on the dock, canoeing, swimming and sitting around the campfire. Hope to go back again.

I could not have asked for anything more. Last minute changes to my vacation left me in need of a place for a few nights. John and Joe were quick to respond and the perfect hosts! The list of what this place offers is long but highlights that meant the world to me was a great balance of privacy and connection with the hosts, the view and surroundings, comfortable room and peace and serenity. I very much needed to recharge and in two days (wish it was longer!) I felt like an entirely different person. I will absolutely be back.

I had the most amazing weekend of my life at John and Joe's place. The place is so beautiful. Waking up to bird sounds and lake view every morning was spiritually healing. There are so many activities to do at the lake. John basically has everything you need to have an amazing time at the lake. Boat ride, canoe, kayaks, life jackets etc. Above all they are wonderful hosts. I can't describe their hospitality in words. We felt like we were visiting our really close friends' place. John is an amazing cook and so attentive to our needs. Before you think you need it, it's already there. The sauna in back was really nice. I can't wait to go back again during winter. It's a perfect weekend getaway. I will never forget this amazing weekend.
