Small, zen-like cabin with a view of the Catskills in Upstate, NY

Jay's cabin delivered another magical Catskills getaway—apparently it is possible to improve on perfection. This time, my miniature dachshund joined the expedition, officially reclaiming the massive grounds as his personal fetch kingdom. When we weren't enjoying the sunset porch views or the wood-stove hot tub, or generally enjoying being naked in nature, we did manage to explore the area a bit. We headed into Bovina's town center to meet friends at the park for a race, and visited Delhi, taking Jay's excellent recommendation to dine at Hollow, which was absolutely spot on (and the dog was welcomed there!). Jay is a fantastic, highly welcoming host who really knows the area well. We will definitely be back again!

My husband and I brought our two young, big pups here. They loved it. Lots of room to run around. It's close to the main house with easy access to hot tub if you wish. Jay has done up the space really well and is a great host.

Amazing time at Jay's place in the Catskills! The cabin is a perfect cozy room with great light, a comfy bed, little coffee station, and - most of all - a beautiful view from the porch (where I spent most of my time) overlooking the grounds and sunset facing. The hot tub is wood stove heated and really swell, overlooking the same great views. The grounds are extensive - plenty of space to hike around, lay out in the sun, and even go berry picking(!). Jay was a gracious host and wonderful to get to know when he was around. Will definitely be back and would absolutely recommend!

Beautiful, peaceful, romantic and stylish! Jay's space is the perfect location for a getaway. The property is stunning with amazing views of the Catskills. The accommodations are comfortable, clean and incredibly relaxing nestled in the woods with access to a wood-fired hot tub, meadow, pond and close to hiking trails and quaint towns. Jay's a perfect host and we enjoyed his space and his company. Can't recommend enough! Extended our stay an extra night - didn't want to leave!!

We had a quick, but fantastic trip into the Catskills to see the autumn leaves. Jay's place was perfect for just this. It is a remote setting on a mountain top with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. I would recommend checking out the surrounding towns before coming up and bringing the necessities (this is glamping after all!) There are several artsy shops that are worth the trip. The hot tub was perfect and was amazing after hiking all day. Jay was the perfect host and was attentive of our needs. We can't wait to come back and enjoy hiking, swimming in the pond, enjoying hot tub, stargazing, etc. in the summer months. Thanks for hosting us!

What every mountain guest room should be. Nestled into the side of a hill, quiet and chill, with little touches that make this a glamping dream. French press coffee on the front porch? ✅ Hot soaking tub under the trees? ✅ Outdoor shower with a view? Yup. Great host and chief hosting assistant pup as well.
