Newly renovated, groovy guest house with a fully equipped kitchen and a huge deck on its own 5 acre, meadowed plot of perfect Catskill land. Just a few minutes stroll through the woods from the owner's main house where the Japanese hot tub awaits. Wifi, stereo, grill, updated appliances, hiking trails, hammocks, a clothing optional policy and complete privacy are just some of the charms of this newly renovated getaway in the Catskill mountains of gorgeous Delaware County. Minutes away by car from nearly a dozen mountain towns, each with its own unique charms, the house offers both privacy and proximity. Owner's own house is on the same property, just a 5 minute stroll away and there you will find a hot tub, washer/dryer and lots more. Please check my other listing to learn more about that. This is a pretty new situation, so please treat it with kindness. Owner is happy to make most accommodations, so please let me know what you need that isn't there. No guns or hunting allowed, ever. The hot tub -- which is a few minutes walk from the house -- is available during the warmer months. From November through April it's too cold to maintain. Hope you understand, fellas. :) Also, it’s a “shoes off” joint, since the house is in the country and you’d be amazed at how quickly stuff gets tracked in the house. I thank you and you’ll thank me too. 🙌🏼

First of all, Jay is a wonderful host and we are so glad we got to know each other during our stay. The cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Perfectly charming, spacious, and yet cozy at the same time. Highlights include decor, espresso machine, turntable, large deck and fire pit, and the well-stocked kitchen. This place is surrounded by cute Catskills towns with lots to do. There are great woods to explore on the property and it is SO PRIVATE! We will definitely be back--so much more to see!!

Jay was highly hospitable, the location was beautiful and the rental is quite spacious. Waking up to the views the property has to offer was a dream! Particularly loved the espresso machine, backyard area, and vinyl collection/record player. Pay attention to the time of year you go but there seems to be a few things to do year round as Bovina is central to plenty of other great towns. Overall a great stay and will definitely be back with friends!
