My home is on a quiet street and major highways are less than 2 minutes away. Bus stop to New York City is one block away. Walking distance to banks, pharmacies, grocery stores, restaurants, and a large park that is connected to 5 other parks in North Jersey. Great to just walk, bike, or roller blade. Overnight street parking is allowed. Driving distance or take the bus to many indoor malls. I am 20 minutes to the George Washington Bridge or the Lincoln Tunnel by car. Just 15 minutes to MetLife Stadium. I have 1 small friendly short hair dog that is 10 lbs.

Though nestled in Saddle Brook, North Jersey, pretty far off from the usual NJ or NYC, surprisingly the place has its hidden gems - trails, parks, amenities and even Westfield Garden State Plaza where many restaurants and stores abound. Paul, the host, was kind enough to accommodate me on a few errands. Very responsive and helpful. His abode is equivalent to a local antique museum filled with many old portraits and small cars, a rare sight indeed. Would love to relish my memories on my next trip.
Paul was a great host. Extremly well organized and the place is very clean, abolutely tidy and Paul cares a lot about your well being. I had a good time and it's a direct bus connection to Port Authority just 3 minutes from the house, so it took me about an hour to get into the center of Manhattan. I highly recommend him and his place.
Paul is a wonderful host, eager to point guests in the right direction to attractions, getting into NYC, etc. Great communication. The house is very homey and cozy. Last but not least is his adorable little dog!
Paul is personable and accommodating.
Paul is an exceptional host. A wealth of information and recommendations about the area and in getting around. He went so far above and beyond his role as a host when he picked me up at a train station late at night and in taking me to some local attractions I wanted to visit. If his neighborhood is or is near your destination, I can't recommend staying with Paul enough.
Paul is a welcoming and accommodating host. I needed to stay an extra night in New York and he agreed to accommodate me for an extra night despite the urgency I imposed on him. I recommend Paul to future travelers visiting New York and New Jersey.
Paul is a welcoming and caring host. His home is a pleasant setting for travelers who want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of New York. In fact, Times Square is only a 45-minute door-to-door ride from the accommodation. I recommend Paul's home for a stay in New York, and will happily return.
Paul was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The location was great for my needs as it was central to all the things I was doing and people I was visiting. The room I stayed in was accurately described, clean and comfortable. It was also a quiet space and in a quiet area. The other guests were friendly and considerate.
Paul's home was convenient and easily accessible for my travels to Northern NJ. His home reflects his passion for cars which I found interesting and fun. Paul is kind and accommodating and I would stay again when the opportunity presents itself.
Nice host! Nice doggy he has. And good location. Great communication as well!
