Theo·5·Aug. 2026· "A lovely place in the centre of the city. Bert is a wonderful host, who makes you feel at home immediately. The house is spacious and light. The bedroom is very nice with its own door to the balcony. A small problem with the sewer system caused a little bit of a smell in the bathroom and a small problem with the water heating caused the shower to randomly go from cool to warm and back. Bert was forthcoming about this and had already planned to take action on it. A lovely breakfast was included. We would like to return to Nijmegen to explore the city further. Staying at Bert's is a great way to do that, so we'll be back!"

You have your own bedroom and bathroom and Manuel lives off off the train stop and it was so easy to navigate. Even though I didn't speak Portuguese I felt so welcome and went to dinners and hung out and did all of their recommendations. Couldn't be happier that I stayed and will definitely book again. Glad to know I have friends in Lisboa."

His apartment is located about 30min by Uber from the airport.
He lives on a top floor of a building with a 24/7 security. There's gym across the road where i had a chance to train with Carlos together.
Carlos is very honest and easy to get along. He showed some cool neighboorhoods, cooked some meals for me and we shared great stories together.
Although it's a little away from the main tourist attractions, but you will be smitten with Your host.
Highly recommended!"

The place is nice and has its own entrance and bathroom which is very nice."
