He also made me a list of "what to do and see" after what I told him what I wanted to experience in Paris - this he did in front of my arrival. Since this was my first time visiting Paris the list was perfect to me. The apartment was beautiful, clean and all what I wanted and expected it to be. It's also have a great location. It has walking distance to the "gay" area and many of the main attractions in Paris, and it is also very close to the metro that connects to almost all of Paris. I will come back for sure."

Especially since I was returning from a long hiking trip: I wasn't presentable.
But Philippe had to welcome me like a 5 ⭐. Clean sheets, clean towels available, clean bathroom, clean living room kitchen. Clean toilet! In short, everything was perfect.

Chris·5·May. 2025· "A great find in a fantastic location. Amazing view across the harbour and out to the island. Ice cream and drinks & snacks next door with restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Mario is a lovely host and looked after us very well; his communication was clear and instant! We made use of the kitchen to cook one evening and of the balcony to enjoy the evenings with a glass of wine. Highly recommended!"

The room was clean and comfortable, overlooking the canal, and had a private bathroom and some basic amenities. It's in a great location - only a 5 min walk to a Puregym, 10-15 mins to the city centre. It's really great value for money, I would definitely recommend staying here, and I look forward to visiting again!"

Alan·5·Jun. 2022· "King sized bed, chandelier, Picasso prints, 50" TV, great shower-10 mind walk from the airport. It was perfect for an overnight in Guayaquil. There's a supermarket nearby. The building isn't marked so it can be difficult figuring out which intercom to push to be let in."

Chris·5·Nov. 2024· "Fantastic Experience in Tamarin. Rys is extremely friendly. We had a nice talk and learned a bit more about Mauritius and Rys' NGO while sharing a meal our host prepared for us. The bungalow is nice and cosy. Too bad we only stayed two days. Definitely recommended."
