I was blown away by the diversity of Indonesia on my recent visit.
According to human rights and LGBTQ+ organizations, sexual orientation and gender identity are criminalized/marginalized in this destination. It might not be the safest place for LGBTQ+ travelers, who are advised to refrain from any public display of affection and remain careful.

Even before our arrival, he was always available, helpful, and full of great advice. Everything went smoothly thanks to him. He helped us plan our activities, and we were lucky to share some wonderful moments with him and his friends. After ten days, he felt like family rather than just a host. I would highly recommend."

John·5·Jan. 2026· "What a fantastic little gem hiding down a quiet lane but a 10 min. walk to all the action. Check-in was easy. The housekeeper delightful and the manager easy to ********. The decor is funky and fun (I opted to stay in the Flamingo room). If you wanted to cook it's all there, but when your steps away from great restaurants... you get the picture. Strongly recommend."

Valere·4·Feb. 2020· "The room is spacious and very comfortable with an excellent bed. The bathroom outside has a lot of charm. The pleasure of being able to access the host's common areas, lounge and pool is an additional asset. The house is in the middle of a rice field 3 km from Ubud which gives it additional charm, but you need to plan for your scooter as it is mandatory since communications are complicated. Thank you Stephen for your welcome and availability."

Bottled water in the kitchen, mosquito spray/coils, towels, a pleasant housekeeper either daily or less frequently and great recommendations from BJ for clubs and restaurants (the Milk & Madu nearby became our favourite (their Cinnamon French toast is the best I've ever eaten). Wild Habit Pizza was also excellent. Thanks again."

The villa is the perfect retreat in a beautiful setting and very well appointed. Lovely room with views over the rice field and a lovely private relaxing pool. The villa's location was perfect. A short walk to the local bars, clubs, restaurants and shops and of course the beach.
The tours with Peter's driver were excellent. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and flexible to our needs. Great fun!
I would not hesitate to recommend Peter's villas to any visitors to Bali."
