"Porto's Ribeira Smart Flat is a comfortable & renovated apartment on the first floor with a view across river to Ferreira Porto house. Between river Douro and Sao Bento station. Bathroom can be tight for larger travellers. Large map on wall, local info on bar plus a well researched visitors book. Ribeira Smart Flat is a bright, spacious, private & quiet neighbourhood (except for early morning garbage trucks) with two to three bedrooms, large lounge & a seperate dining room."

"What a unique place unreplicated anywhere else. Truly a beautiful space. There was ample fresh fruit and drinks and a well-stocked kitchen. Our laundry was even done for us, and returned the same day. How's that for service! Just be forewarned that the bathroom is at the opposite end of the house from the bedroom, and the bathroom is two steps above the rest of the space. Jorge gave us a personal welcome including pointing out sites, restaurants and bars. Such hospitality!"
