Cosy and comfortable flat with 3 rooms, kitchen, and a small bathroom with a bathtub, toilet and sink. 1 room with indirect lightning (natural light comes in through two high windows on the walls shared with other rooms). 1 room with direct lightning and nice view from the window with balcony.

The apartment is on the first floor; the building is almost in front of the Sao Joao Court of Justice.

Originally from France, I have always been keen to discover new countries and cultures. I lived 2 years in Australia where I studied at the University of Southern Queensland. After that I headed back to Paris, thinking to settle down there. After some times I decided to change my life and landed in Porto. I have been living here since 2010. Since then, I did not manage to get back and got in love with Porto. The seagulls, the Douro and the amazing color of the sun set, will without a doubt, make you also fall in love with this beautiful city.

Porto's Ribeira Smart Flat is a comfortable & renovated apartment on the first floor with a view across river to Ferreira Porto house. Between river Douro and Sao Bento station. Bathroom can be tight for larger travellers. Large map on wall, local info on bar plus a well researched visitors book. Ribeira Smart Flat is a bright, spacious, private & quiet neighbourhood (except for early morning garbage trucks) with two to three bedrooms, large lounge & a seperate dining room.

This is a lovely apartment. With a comfortable space, clean rooms, and a great location. Matthew did his best to help us with any questions we had. Good place to relax.

Charming apartment and Mathieu was an accommodating host. Location was excellent and convenient. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy during our week there and the apartment has stone walls, but no heater. Mathieu did provide a dehumidifier which helped. One bedroom is on the street-side and the noise of vehicles on rain-slick cobblestones made it difficult to sleep without earplugs.

Late September 2022: Apartment ideally located for travelers without a car in the old and lively city, so a bit noisy but reasonable. Good welcome and good advice. View without too much overlooking which is rare in Porto. Good value for money given the location and equipment. Thanks to Mathieu for his availability and welcome. We recommend!
