I loved choosing to stay here while visiting Porto! It's in a very charming old area in Porto, walkable to everything and such a beautiful home. I loved it as a solo traveller and I would have loved it with a group too. I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back!

Great host and a wonderful comfortable place. Solo traveler here. The place would even be better with family with kids and longer term stay. Strong wifi. (Full kitchen, laundry machine.). 12-15 min walk to Metro with some uphill sections. But may buses nearby for a few minutes walk. Plenty to eat out around here including local eats). Might be a challenge for people with mobility limitations if they want to sleep upstairs. Living room has a sleeping sofa.

Prime location, close to the center and shops. We visited everything on foot from the house, which is ideal for discovering the city of Porto. Situated in a quiet dead-end street with no car noise. We slept very well and the bedding is comfortable. We did not meet Santos, but he always responded to our needs and messages. His colleagues Sonia and Maria are very welcoming. Santos is a great communicator and always answered promptly. The location is down a narrow alley but we were met at the corner to show us the way. Overall a good location. Kitchen not well equipped. We like to cook when traveling and almost impossible with what we had. Steps are very narrow and steep, almost a ladder. If you have any issues climbing steps I would not recommend. All in all we had a good stay there and if cooking is not an issue I would recommend.

We loved our stay at Neto's House. The location was perfect - about a block from the historic center, plenty of bakeries nearby! The house fit our family of three perfectly. Only drawback was the lack of heat (we visited the first week of January), but we bought a cheap space heater and the problem was solved. Santos was out of town during our visit, but responded immediately to text requests. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore Porto on foot or via transit.
