Tastefully furnished apartment, elegant, clean and above all quiet. In a good location for exploring Porto on foot.

We weren’t happy with this Rental. First of all it is on a third floor walk up. I am 65 years old and the host should have said in the description that it is on the third floor with no elevator. I also think Mister B&B is responsible for not saying that it was on a third floor walk up. Second, it was a bit of hassle to get in. It was like something out of a Dan Brown novel to get into the apartment. The host didn’t meet us personally. He was cordial in the emails, but it would’ve been a lot nicer if he had met us in person to open up the apartment for us. Third, the building required a key to get out of it. I found this potentially dangerous if there was an emergency. There is no reason why they couldn’t have had a turn latch at the main entrance. Fourth, the bedroom was in a loft, which was another flight of stairs after the three flights just to get into the apartment. The staircase was narrow with no handrail. Another potential danger and a design flaw for this unit. Really a stupid and dangerous design. Fifth, the loft did not have a separating wall looking into the living area below, but instead a glass partition. This made me uncomfortable because if I forgot in the middle of the night, I could fall over the edge. Sixth, although there was a coffee espresso machine, there was no coffee. We couldn’t figure out which coffee pods worked in the machine, so we couldn’t figure out which pods to buy. Sixth, the outside balcony made of some type of metal was wobbly. Overall, not a good choice for anyone who is over 50 years old. The location was so so.

It was a pleasure to stay at this appartement in a nice and quiet neighborhood. Felt like a second home for us! Just outside the old touristic centre (wich is in walking distance) so where you join the real taste of Porto! High recommended!

This private loft was perfect to have some time and space to myself. The whole place was decorated beautifully and gave a sense of luxury. Diogo made the check in very easy and was great with communication! The center of Porto is about a 25 minute walk away which was a great chance to stretch the legs. It was also convenient to get to the airport as you're just outside the traffic in the middle of the city. I would love to stay here again if I come back to Porto! Obrigado!
