1 - The apartment is shoe-free, for your safety and ours, so please bring your slippers.

2 - You must inform us of your travel arrangements, which flight, arrival time and whether you will be renting a car, at least two weeks before your arrival.
Unless your booking was made less than two weeks before your arrival,
in which case you should tell us as soon as possible what time and how you will be arriving in Porto
Otherwise, we cannot ******** that someone will be available to give you the keys to the apartment.

3 - If you change your arrival time on the day of arrival (with a tolerance of one hour), you will have to pay a fee of 40 euros per hour. Unless this is due to changes in the flight's landing time.

4 - At the time of booking, you must also provide us with the following information necessary to complete the accommodation form required by Portuguese law:
1 - full names
2 - full address
3 - dates and places of birth
4 - nationalities
5 - passport or European citizen card numbers, issuing countries
6 - your email address
The accommodation slip is compulsory for all guests, and only the guests mentioned on it can stay in the apartment.
These details must be provided to us at the time of booking, regardless of the details you have already provided to the platform.
GUESTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE APARTMENT WITHOUT HAVING PREVIOUSLY SENT US THESE COMPLETE DETAILS

5 - We regret that we cannot accommodate dogs or other pets
No smoking inside the apartment. Smoking is only allowed on the terrace and in the garden. Please dispose of cigarette butts in the ashtray.
If the apartment smells of tobacco, you will be charged 250 euros from the ********, as extra thorough cleaning will be required.

6 - Please leave your keys inside the apartment when you check out.
Check-out time is 11:00. It may be possible to check out later on request

7 - We are not responsible for faults in the goods and services provided by the water, gas, electricity, internet and TV supply companies.

8 - The house is located in a garden, so it is natural for small insects to appear unexpectedly.
Inside the house, there is an electronic device to prevent insects from entering, and the openings to the outside are regularly treated with insect repellent spray.
The unexpected entry of a small insect is something that is beyond our control and has nothing to do with cleanliness.
This house, like all our accommodations, has a very high standard of cleanliness, as guests' comments attest.
Therefore, we do not accept any complaint based on the unexpected presence of an insect that has entered the house from the garden or introduced through the guest's luggage.
We regret the need to include this obvious fact in the House Rules, but unfortunately we are aware of complaints made to our colleagues with a profound lack of common sense, and we are therefore obliged to introduce this aspect here.
