Originally from France, I have always been keen to discover new countries and cultures. I lived 2 years in Australia where I studied at the University of Southern Queensland. After that I headed back to Paris, thinking to settle down there. After some times I decided to change my life and landed in Porto. I have been living here since 2010. Since then, I did not manage to get back and got in love with Porto. The seagulls, the Douro and the amazing color of the sun set, will without a doubt, make you also fall in love with this beautiful city.

Renting from Mathieu was an efficient, pleasant experience. Good communication, easy checking. The apartment is in an excellent location, close to city center, bars, restaurants, and a short walk to the river. It is a compact 1 bedroom, with kitchen, and a large shower, with separate toilet. Clean and affordable.

The best thing about this place is the host, Mathieu. He was a prime communicator who quickly answered my endless questions and even got me out of trouble with Uber when I sent her to the wrong city. (same address, lesson learned). I found the place small for me, and lugging my heavy bag up the stairs, and down, was a challenge. Mathieu did come through on check in and helped carry it up! The biggest surprise is the toilet in a tiny room out on the balcony. Talk about cold seats! To sum it up it was adequate for my two nights, I think I paid too much for the amount of space and the cold seat. I'm also impressed and thankful for Mathieu's help

Hi Art. Thanks for your review. For your next reservation, I do advise to read better the description of the listing where you will be staying. The toilet on the balcony is mentioned in our description and the pictures of the apartment do give an impression of the size of it. Thanks. Mathieu.

Great location and very clean. I would definitely stay again if I return to Porto.
