Dubai will become gay friendly ... one day!

In 20 years, the city of Dubai has literally exploded. It has become a modern city and a hub of the world economy, and the oil industry has become the economic model for the United Arab Emirates. Dubai has recently attracted worldwide attention with many innovative projects under construction and the arrival of major sporting events.

Tourism is one of the important elements of the Dubai government's strategy to maintain the flow of foreign cash into the Emirates. Whether it is business tourists or tourists looking for something new and fresh. Tourists who go to Dubai spend their money mainly on shopping and on old and new attractions. In 2007, Dubai became the eighth most visited city in the world. By 2015, the city is expected to welcome over 15 million tourists. What will happen with the pink money from gay tourists?

The city of Dubai has everything to appeal to homosexuals, just as Las Vegas has done in recent years.

In a country where homosexuality is forbidden and still considered a punishable crime, it attracts, with some fear, homosexual tourists who also want to live this unique and uncommon experience that Dubai offers. Article 354 of the Federal Penal Code states that "Whoever commits rape on a woman or sodomy with a man shall be punished by death".

Will the country's government address the issue of gay rights in order to welcome new dollars? The next few years will undoubtedly set the tone for tourist conditions in this Arab country.
