The Drink

The Drink is Church Street's hidden second-floor gem, a social space that's equal parts coffee shop, cocktail bar and drag venue, tucked above the bustle of the Village strip with a window overlooking the gay village below. By day, it's all fabulous coffee, lattes, and pastries; by night, it transforms into a tastefully decorated hideaway for signature cocktails (espresso martinis, Manhattans, and Negronis are the specialty) alongside thin-crust pizza, with entertainment seven nights a week, nightly drag shows, DJs, and dancing Thursday through Sunday. Small, loud, and welcoming, it draws a genuinely diverse crowd: men, women, bears, twinks, trans folks, young and old, all packed in for a show. Free cover and famously friendly bartenders make it an easy, feel-good stop on any Village night out.
