QueerPlanet is one of Basel's longest-running LGBTQ+ party institutions, a roving "premium house party" that promoters Maggie and Rebecca have been throwing at clubs around the city since the mid-2000s. Built on house and tech-house with resident DJ and producer Taylor Cruz, it lands several times a year at venues like Parterre One and SUD, and throws its buzzy "Bordell" party at Rouine during Art Basel.

Sunnyday is Basel's gay sauna, a clean, modern and welcoming men's club-sauna a little out from the center on Grenzacherstrasse, and these days the last of its kind in the city. It offers a Finnish and a bio sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool, a fitness corner and aromatherapy relaxation rooms, alongside a full cruising side: a large maze with cabins, a mirror room, a sling room and video cabins.
