Room for rent in a beautiful central apartment

The perfect setting for an art-trip to Basel. Nicolas's place is perfectly situated a few steps from the river Rhein and 15 minutes stroll to the town hall and, critically for me, thw Kunstmuseum. The apartment is mid century with pared back elegance and SPOTLESSLY clean. VERY sadly, Nicolas was away during my 2 night stay, so we didn't meet in person (a reason I stay via MisterB&B) but I FEEL I have met Nicolas because of his attentive and excellent communication. Highly recommended. LOVE

Nicolas was the perfect host, from arranging our arrival to very nice conversations and most useful recommendations for things to do in the city. The apartment is very well located and equipped and Nicolas did the most possible that we would feel at home. We can only recommend this gem for a stay in Basel.

I recommend staying to Nicolas from every point of view. The apartment is very welcoming, quiet, sunny, spacious even for two people. Located nearby the river, in a district full of popular bars and restaurants, is a pleasant walk from the city centre. Nicolas is a great host, friendly and helpful, speaks fluently Italian, excellent guide for the city

Had a really great stay with Nicolas. His apartment is lovely - peaceful and spacious and in a great location in Basel with good public transport access and easy to walk to a lot of places. Nicolas made me feel really welcome and although we were both quite busy during my stay, we still got to hang out on the first evening I arrived so that was really nice. Really approachable, accommodating and fun host and comfortable stay

Nicolas is a real kind host, smart man. Discreet, respectful, elegant. The communication was perfect all the time. The flat is spacious as well as the room, quiet at night, with many tips from Nicolas to hang around.

Nicolas is a kind and gracious host. His apartment is in a perfect location in Basel. Immediately upon arrival I felt very much at home, as if we had been friends for years. It was a true joy to share common interests in music and life. We also enjoyed a glass of wine together and a little walk in the neighborhood. My only regret was that my visit was not longer, and I would gladly return.

Woof! Ha (inside joke). ******** was absolutely marvelous. Loved hanging out with him, going to museums with him, the opera, listening to him play the piano, joking. Will be friends for a long time to come. Totally the best mrbnb experience ever.
