Spacious rooms in friendly Aussie guy’s beach house - 2 rooms

Stayed a week June 26, and enjoyed a truly relaxing, heaven on earth, break. The apartment, a few steps away from the beach and Chania old-town, is smart, spacious yet so homely. Lee has been an amazing friendly host. You feel immediately comfortable in his flat, the room was perfect. Lee is easy to communicate with and very helpful.

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful stay here. The location in Nea Chora was ideal — just a short walk to the beach, Old Town, and great local restaurants. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and felt like a true home base for exploring Chania. Our host, Lee, went above and beyond — he personally showed us around the neighborhood, shared his favorite spots, and genuinely made us feel welcome. The automatic espresso machine was a big bonus in the mornings before heading out to explore. We really appreciated his hospitality and the friendly, inclusive atmosphere. Highly recommended for couples or anyone who wants a local, relaxed, and authentic experience in Chania.

Lee is a very nice and friendly guy. He welcomed me when I arrived and showed me around in Chania, much appreciated :)! The apartment is large, bright and very cosy. It is centrally located in Chania and everything is within easy reach. Finding parking spaces was also no problem. I felt very comfortable with Lee and would love to come back, provided he takes me in again :).

5 stars – Wonderful stay in Chania with an amazing host! I had such a fantastic experience staying at this Misterb&b in Chania! The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. It has beautiful terrazzo floors, and each room having access to an outdoor space. The location was perfect—walking distance to the Old Town, New Town beautiful beaches, and local cafes. Yet, quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep.What really made the stay exceptional was the host. From the moment I arrived, they were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and full of great recommendations for things to see, do, and eat in Chania. It felt more like staying with a friend than a stranger. They clearly know the area well and went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed, including tips on hidden gems I wouldn’t have found on my own. Lee was well connected in the local community, introducing me to his local friends, which made for a memorable night out. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a local, authentic experience in Crete with a kind, knowledgeable and thoughtful host. Thank you for a memorable stay, which I will be sharing for years to come.
