About Palermo Pride 2025
You may best know Sicily for its idyllic location and incredible gastronomy, but its annual Pride is also rather momentous. Unlike other prides in Europe which normally last one to two weeks, Palermo Pride is an LGBTQ festivity that takes place for the entire summer. Bringing together a host of local organizations, Palermo Pride truly brings this Sicilian city together in a genuflection of LGBTQ acceptance and support.
Along with Rome Pride, this is one of the most important pride celebrations to transpire in Italy. Palermo is recognized as one of the country's most gay-friendly cities, and it continues to go from strength to strength in terms of LGBTQ tourism. Along with the iconic pride parade, you can also look forward to a lively gay village which usually welcomes loads of performers.
