The vacation apartment in Falmenta, on the edge of the Val Grande, is a 20-minute drive from Cannobio and Laggo Maggiore. There is also a bus connection. The valley is located close to the Swiss border in the Italian region of Piedmont. You can reach us by car from Germany either through the Gotthard Tunnel or the San Bernadino Tunnel via Locarno and Cannobio. You can reach our vacation homes from the parking lots at the entrance to Falmenta in about 15 minutes on foot. The path leads through the main street of the village, Via Roma, past the post office, bar and church square, then up an old stairway to Durone.
