Welcome to Islington Mill — A Creative Queer Sanctuary
We’re Bill and Morry (husbands), and Jack (my lover and Master), and together we invite you to experience something a little different at Islington Mill — a living, breathing, ever-evolving creative experiment in queer communal living.
We’re offering three private bedrooms within our shared 8-bedroom, 4,000 sqft live/work loft — part of the wider Islington Mill complex, a legendary hub for artists, queers, and free-thinkers in Salford/Manchester.
This is not your average guest stay. We live here, we create here, we host here — and we welcome those who are curious, open-minded, and up for experiencing life in a vibrant, sex-positive, queer and trans-supportive environment.
The space includes a large open-plan communal living and kitchen area where conversations spark, meals are shared, and spontaneous happenings... happen. As founders of the Mill, we’ve spent years building a global creative community, and you’re invited to become part of that — not just during your stay, but beyond, through our daily ******** (every morning at 9:30am UK time), which guests are welcome to join.
A few things to know before you book:
• This is an artist space. Expect the unexpected — installations, rehearsals, drag, rituals, creative clutter.
• We host regular events and parties, sometimes in shared areas or adjacent spaces. If you’re someone who needs total quiet or solitude, we might not be the right fit — but feel free to message us to see what’s coming up during your dates.
• Your room is private, the vibe is communal, and respect is mutual.
Whether you’re an artist, seeker, misfit, lover, or simply someone craving connection, we look forward to welcoming you into the extended Mill family.
Let us know if you have any questions or special needs — we’re here to make your stay beautiful, meaningful, and a little bit magic.
