Relax and unwind on the shores of Union River Bay where sunset views can be striking and privacy is assured.

The original log cabin was built in 1929 by my grandfather and has been added to over the generations making it a traditional camp.

A private beach is available right out front and two canoes and a kayak, including pedals and lifejackets, are provided. During the summer months, the water will be warm enough for swimming.

A deck is attached and features for seating chairs, a zero gravity chair and a folding dining table for four. It is an ideal location for lunch and especially dinner when watching the sunset.

Acadia National Park is a short 20 minute drive and Ellsworth is 15 minutes away, offering restaurants, supermarkets, laundromats, and historic attractions.

As two gay men (John & John), we find the area to be accommodating and inclusive of LGBTQ+ folks. The gay scene in the area is very limitedbut most people come here for the great outdoors anyways.
