Wooden house, no smoking (except on the terrace), pets not allowed, no parties with guests other than the 8 occupants. Thank you :-) HOUSE SECURITY - Please close the bay windows and lock the garage and front door at night and when you go out. - At night, please close the bay windows in the living room and dining room (if the ground floor bedroom is not occupied, please check that its bay window is also closed). - An alarm system is available, so don't hesitate to activate it when you go out. (Press ON) - And don't forget to deactivate it when you return (CODE + OFF). - Very festive evenings are strictly forbidden. La Boisselière is designed to accommodate a maximum of 8 people, for family stays or with friends. SWIMMING POOL/TERRACE We would be grateful if you could : - Put the pool cleaner on charge if you have used it. - Close the pool curtain every night to keep the water warm - Close the sunshade every night and during the day in windy conditions BARBECUE - Please do not move the barbecue onto the terrace: leave it where it is, as grease spills could stain the stone. - Please clean the barbecue after each use, and remember to put the protective cover back on and fasten it to the feet of the barbecue once it has cooled down and been turned off, to protect it from bad weather and birds. BINS - Please empty your garbage cans regularly, including sorting garbage cans, into the containers under the wooden shelter at the entrance to the parking lot. - The garbage truck passes by on Friday mornings: put out the 2 containers in front of the road on Thursday evenings. CIGARETTE The interior of the house is strictly non-smoking. - An ashtray is located in the drawer under the sink. Please empty it into the garbage can at the end of your stay. - Please do not smoke in the upstairs windows. INSIDE - Please do not lay your wet towels on the wooden chairs in the dining room; towel racks on the wall are available in each bathroom. - Pool towels can be laid on the metal chairs and armchairs on the terrace or in the bathrooms. - The dining room table is made of solid wood and is easy to mark. To keep it looking its best, please use the placemats provided. Please do not write on a sheet of paper on the table or use knives directly on the wood to avoid scratching it. - Please use the coasters on the coffee table to place your glasses and bottles. - Cork trivets should be used to place pots and pans and other hot dishes on all surfaces (worktop, inside and outside tables). CHIMNEY - Remember to open the hatch on the side of the flue, as well as the air inlets on the floor on either side of the fireplace. - The structure of the house is made of wood: it is absolutely essential to keep an eye on the burning fireplace. - The fire must be perfectly extinguished in your absence or while you're sleeping.
