You’ll be staying just a short walk from the historic center, but far enough to feel like a true Athenian. Pangrati is full of life and character. Around the corner, you’ll find some of my favorite local spots: grab brunch at Colibri, try Greek comfort food at Mavro Provato, and sip great coffee at Kain. For something sweet, Le Greche has amazing gelato you’ll dream about. There are also plenty of little shops, bakeries, and all the essentials right nearby.
Athens has a lively and growing LGBTQ+ scene, and everyone is welcome here. Pangrati itself is relaxed and safe, while the nightlife in nearby Gazι is full of energy.
