Maximum of Two Cars We kindly request that only two cars are parked on the premises at any given time. If you have a trailer, camper, or similar vehicle, it can be parked on the curb, partially on the grass and partially on the asphalt. Please refrain from parking trucks with more than 4 wheels or trailers in the driveway or designated parking area. Septic System Our home operates on a septic tank and drain field system. To maintain its efficiency, we ask that you avoid putting food scraps, cooking oil, or grease down the drain. Please scrape plates into the trash can located next to the sink. We do not have a garbage disposal, as it is not compatible with a septic system. A note in the bathroom provides guidance on what can be disposed of in the toilet. While it may seem like common sense to only flush toilet paper and natural waste, we have included a note as a reminder. You Get the Whole Home, but Not the Whole Property You have full access to the entire home during your stay. However, please note that the wooded property behind the Cottage is not included in your rental. We kindly ask that you refrain from going beyond the privacy screens or down the other driveway. Please note that we only accept bookings from guests residing beyond a 45 mile radius from the property. No Parties or Events. No extra people. Parties or events of any kind are strictly prohibited. Even if the gathering does not explicitly use the word "party," such as a "gurls' weekend" or a casual get-together, it falls under this policy. Should we find that an event or party is taking place, we will kindly ask you to leave, and no refund will be provided. No extra guests. No Pets Allowed We have a strict no-pets policy. If it is discovered that you have brought a pet onto the property, your reservation will be canceled immediately, regardless of the time of day. Additionally, a cleaning fee of $200 will be charged. No Smoking Our home is designated as non-smoking, which includes vaping, e-cigarettes, marijuana, and similar substances. Smoking is only permitted outside. No Glitter, Sequins, or Similar Items To maintain the cleanliness of our home, we do not allow glitter, sequins, tape, confetti, or similar items. These items are difficult to fully remove, and if discovered upon your departure, a minimum cleaning fee of $300 will be charged for their removal. Supplies We provide a starter pack of supplies sufficient for your stay. In the event that you run out, there are ********, Kroger, and Publix stores just a couple of miles away for your convenience.
