Welcome to my colourful Victorian terraced home — a warm, creative and inclusive space designed for comfort and relaxation.
The house blends historic Victorian character with a vibrant artistic atmosphere, filled with artwork and objects collected during my travels. Guests often say it feels more like a boutique stay or creative studio than traditional accommodation.
You’ll stay in a private double bedroom within a shared home where I also live. The space is calm, cosy and ideal for unwinding after exploring the town, visiting the university or travelling for work. The overall atmosphere is friendly, respectful and easygoing, welcoming tourists, professionals, students and remote workers alike.
Guests are invited to enjoy the shared living areas as part of everyday home life. The colourful living room is the heart of the house, perfect for relaxing, reading or watching TV, while the dining room and fully equipped kitchen are available for cooking or longer stays. A garden offers a peaceful outdoor space to unwind.
A simple complimentary breakfast is provided, including coffee, tea, milk, oats, muesli, bread, butter, jam and cheese, and dietary requests can be arranged in advance. Fast Wi-Fi, laundry facilities and all essential comforts are available to make your stay easy and relaxed.
The bathroom is shared with the host and includes both bathtub and shower, with towels and toiletries provided. The aim is to create a comfortable, respectful shared environment where guests feel genuinely at home.

The house is located in a quiet residential area just a short ten-minute walk from Northampton town centre, making it easy to enjoy the town while returning to a calm and comfortable home environment. Cafés, restaurants, supermarkets, pubs and everyday amenities are only a few minutes away on foot, allowing guests to explore comfortably without needing a car. The University of Northampton is approximately a fifteen-minute walk away, making the home especially convenient for visiting academics, students and professionals.
Northampton has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere and is generally welcoming and LGBTQ+ inclusive. While the local LGBTQ+ scene is small, it is warm and approachable. The Boston is the town’s main LGBTQ+ bar and nightclub and has long been a social hub for the community. Many other venues across town are openly inclusive, and visitors usually find the overall atmosphere easygoing and comfortable.
For guests who enjoy green spaces, beautiful walks can be found nearby at Delapré Park, Beckets Park and along the riverside paths, perfect for morning walks, running or unwinding after a day out. The Cultural Quarter and Market Square area offer independent shops, theatres and casual dining options, creating a lively yet manageable town centre experience. I’m always happy to share local recommendations for food, drinks, cafés and favourite walking routes to help guests experience the area like a local.
Northampton also works well as a base for exploring further afield. The train station is within walking distance or a short drive, offering convenient connections to London, Birmingham and other major cities, making the home suitable for both leisure travellers and professionals visiting the area.

My home is intended to be a relaxed, respectful shared space where everyone feels comfortable and at ease. Guests are asked to treat the house and one another with kindness and consideration. The home operates as a clothing-optional environment. Nudity is welcome but never expected, and guests are free to choose what feels comfortable for them at all times. The atmosphere is non-sexual and based on mutual respect and personal boundaries. This is a calm residential home rather than a party space. Parties, events and additional visitors are not permitted without prior agreement. Quiet hours are observed between 11 pm and 8 am to maintain a peaceful environment for everyone. Smoking and vaping are not allowed inside the property. Pets are welcome, provided they are well behaved and discussed in advance. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living areas and garden respectfully and to leave shared spaces tidy after use. Please communicate arrival times in advance so check-in can be organised smoothly. Check-in and check-out times can often be flexible when arranged beforehand. Open communication is always appreciated — if you need anything during your stay, feel free to ask.
