This one-bedroom 4th-floor studio apartment was renovated in April 2026 and can easily accommodate one person or a couple with a young child. It has a fully equipped kitchenette and a small bathroom, with a large balcony overlooking straight to the cityscape and the Akropolis. The bedroom has a king-size bed and a there is a working desk. Heating in the winter and cooling in the summer is controlled by an a/c unit and a ceiling fan. The apartment has fast wifi (200 Mbps), a washing machine, flat-screen smart TV. The entire building is a small community of young expats. We have created a beautiful space on the roof for our guests, where you can either relax, sunbathe, have a drink, barbecue, do some exercise or simply explore the Athenian cityscape.

Akadimia Platonos, or Plato’s Academy, is a quiet middle-class neighborhood located 3 km (2 miles) west-northwest of downtown Athens and just ten minutes walk from the capital’s hottest and most youthful gay place to be at night: Gazi. The area is named after Plato's Academy, simply because the ancient Greek philosopher founded his famous School here 2,400 years ago. A modern-day archaeological park is the only reminder of antiquity’s prestigious academic institution, just two minutes walk from the apartment. Supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, dance schools, gyms are all located within a short walk’s distance.

Don'ts... -Do not through paper into the toilet. There is a wastebasket for this purpose -Do not make unnecessary noise during quiet hours (midnight to 7 am & 3 pm to 5 pm) -Do not smoke inside the apartment. There are ashtrays on the balcony and a smoke detector inside the apartment. -Do not use any illegal substances in the apartment. Incidents of this nature will be immediately reported to the police. -Do not leave this place in bad shape. Keep in mind that other guests will follow and that a hard-working person will clean after you leave. -Do not leave any personal belongings behind after you check-out. Tips & Advice -Tap water is perfectly drinkable -Be always vigilant when little children are on the balcony. -Be always alert when in crowded places, such as the metro and other means of transportation. There have been some incidents of pickpocketing lately. -Do not accept any offers for sightseeing or currency exchange from people in the street.
