Welcome to my home in Paris’s vibrant 10th arrondissement! Located on the 6th floor of a classic Parisian building with an elevator, the apartment is bright, comfortable, and ideally situated for anyone wanting to experience the city beyond the typical tourist areas.
The main room serves as both the living and sleeping space, making it a cozy retreat after a day exploring Paris. There’s also a separate, fully equipped kitchen, a private bathroom, and a small balcony where you can enjoy a lovely view of Sacré-Cœur. It’s one of my favorite spots for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine while watching the light change over Montmartre.
One of the things I love most about living here is the neighborhood. Just outside the building you’ll find some of the best international food in Paris, from Indian and Sri Lankan restaurants to Turkish, African, and Middle Eastern cuisine, alongside traditional French cafés, bakeries, and lively local markets. The apartment is just a few steps from La Chapelle metro station and within easy walking distance of Gare du Nord and Gare de l’Est, making it incredibly convenient whether you’re arriving by Eurostar, coming from the airport, or exploring different parts of the city. Canal Saint-Martin, Montmartre, Le Marais, and many of Paris’s most iconic sights are all within easy reach.
This is my primary residence, so it feels like a real home rather than a standard rental. You’ll have space in the wardrobe and shelves for your belongings, although a few of my personal items will remain neatly stored away.
As with many central Paris apartments, there’s one thing worth mentioning. The elevated metro line passes several stories below the apartment. With the balcony doors closed, most guests find the sound and vibration minimal, but the trains run from around 6:00 a.m. until shortly after midnight. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, you may want to bring earplugs. For most guests, the convenience of being so well connected far outweighs this minor aspect of city living.
I want guests to feel at home and enjoy Paris as a local would. Whether you’re visiting for a few days or a longer stay, I hope you’ll enjoy the apartment, the neighborhood, and everything this wonderful city has to offer.
