Welcome to my home in Clairemont — San Diego's most central neighborhood. You're 15 minutes from Hillcrest's bars and nightlife, 10 from Mission Bay and the beaches, and 15 from downtown and Balboa Park, with free driveway parking waiting when you roll home.
Your space: a comfortable private bedroom with a queen bed, blackout curtains, fast Wi-Fi with a workspace, and a hallway bathroom that's exclusively yours during your stay (double vanity, walk-in shower).
The rest of the house is shared with me: a freshly remodeled kitchen you're welcome to cook in, a help-yourself continental breakfast (Nespresso + tea bar, cereal, pastries), a living room with A/C, and the backyard — inflatable hot tub, hammock, shade sail, and raised garden beds with herbs and veggies. Cooking? Grab some fresh basil or rosemary.
I'm a social host — happy to share the lay of the land, point you to the best spots in Hillcrest and the best tacos in Clairemont, or just hang on the patio. Zero pressure either way; your room and your time are yours.
Clean, quiet, welcoming home base. Would love to host you.
I have security camera(s) outside of my place

North Clairemont is a quiet, central neighborhood — you get a real home base with easy access to everything San Diego does well.
LGBTQ+ SCENE Hillcrest, San Diego's gayborhood, is about 15 minutes by car. University Ave and 5th Ave are lined with bars, brunch spots, and shops: Urban MO's, Gossip Grill, Rich's, Flicks, Number One Fifth Ave, and The Rail. The Hillcrest Pride Flag at Normal St and University Ave is the neighborhood landmark, and the Hillcrest Farmers Market runs every Sunday morning. North Park (Pecs, The Redwing) and Balboa Park are right next door. San Diego Pride is in July.
BEACHES & OUTDOORS Mission Bay and Pacific Beach are about 10 minutes away — paddleboarding, the boardwalk, and sunset at Crystal Pier. Black's Beach (clothing-optional, popular with the community) is 20 minutes north below Torrey Pines. La Jolla Cove for sea lions and snorkeling, and Tecolote Canyon for a quick hike right from the neighborhood.
CLOSE TO THE HOUSE Clairemont Town Square and Balboa Mesa have Trader Joe's, Vons, Target, and coffee. Convoy Street (10 min) is San Diego's Asian food district — ramen, Korean BBQ, dim sum, and late-night boba. Local favorites: Mission Bay Sushi, Cafe Bagel, and the taco shops on Balboa Ave.
GETTING AROUND Freeways 52, 805, and 5 are minutes away. Downtown, the Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Balboa Park, and the San Diego Zoo are all about 15 minutes by car. The airport is 15 minutes. Old Town (Mexican food, historic park) is 10 minutes. A car is the easiest way to get around, and rideshare is quick and cheap from here.
Happy to give more tips when you arrive.
Welcome! This is my home, and I live here full-time with my dog, Jameson. A few simple rules keep things easy for everyone: • Stays are 30 nights minimum. This is a longer-stay, live-with-a-local setup, not a party pad. • Registered guests only. Please check with me before bringing anyone else into the house. No parties or events. • No smoking or vaping indoors. Outside in the yard is fine — please keep it away from open windows. • Quiet hours 10 PM to 7 AM. I work early shifts in hotel management, so I appreciate it, and I will do the same for you. • Hot tub: enjoy it! Shower before you get in, keep the cover on when not in use, no glass on the deck, and please do not adjust the chemicals or settings — I maintain it. • Shared bathroom, kitchen, and living room. Clean up after yourself and put things back where you found them. Label anything in the fridge you do not want to share. • My dog is friendly, but please do not feed him people food and keep the front door and side gate closed so he stays in. • No pets of your own, sorry — one dog is enough for this house. • Please lock the door when you leave and turn off lights and A/C in your room. • Street parking is easy; I will point out the best spot when you arrive. Mostly: treat it like your own place, be a good housemate, and we will get along great. If anything is unclear, just ask.
