The Reveal
Comfortable room in a nice apartment located in an urbanization with swimming pool (summer only) of 8 Basque type cottages. Conveniently located as it is 850 meters from the beach, about 20 km from San Sebastian, 12 km from St-Jean-Luz and 20 km from Biarritz. It is a duplex of about 67 m 2 where your room is at the top, attic ... has a bed of 135 cm (with its bedding) and towels. WiFi is available. The living room, the bathroom and the kitchen are shared... the latter only for breakfast. Breakfast is included (coffee - toast - butter - jam - pastries - fruit). If you want to put some food or drink in the fridge, no problem. And if you want to prepare a snack or heat up something already precooked in the microwave it is also possible. I like to welcome people and give them all the information and advice they need. I remind them that I will also be in the apartment so we will share the common parts. Some guests are looking for social interaction, others just want a space and privacy .. I will be equally happy with both extremes .... You decide!

Great stay at Juan's who introduced me to Hendaye beach and especially his Spanish hometown, Hondarribia, its beautiful old quarter and its very lively city center. Juan was a very attentive host.

Jon has been a fantastic and incredibly attentive host. The house is very beautiful and comfortable. He prepared a welcome dinner for us and made us feel at home at all times. We also had a royal breakfast. I highly recommend Jon's house for everyone looking for accommodation in the area. Thank you Jon!

We were welcomed like friends and treated like royalty by our hosts. Swimming in the residence pool was an unexpected bonus. The evening in the Spanish side of town, with a guided tour by Jon, was a great idea. Dinner at the house was delicious and abundant. Comfortable bed, royal breakfast, warm atmosphere. I will return to see you with great pleasure.

Jon has been the best host I've had so far. He has helped me with everything from buying groceries to giving me rides in his car several times. He is willing to share his time with you. The room and the house are very pleasant. It's a residential area with gardens and a swimming pool. Les Deux Jumeaux beach is right next to it and also the train station with the same name to travel along the Basque Coast, etc. I will return.
