Find us ******** mission bell towers, bougainvillea arches and old Spanish doors, this estate has the secluded and nostalgic atmosphere of Palm Springs. The Hollywood elite frequent this location because of the privacy and security. Owned by Robert Stack in the ********s, the property was a common gathering place for The Rat Pack. Casa de Monte Vista is a walled and gated private estate, complete with a "caterer ready" full kitchen and covered patio for dancing. The guest casitas, organic herb and vegetable garden, warm saltwater pool/spa are surrounded by a panoply of majestic 75' palm trees, botanical gardens and spectacular mountain views.
Chosen as a film location for the Liberace movie "Behind The Candelabra" starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon. Casa de Monte Vista means "House with the mountain view." Our property sits at the base of a 10,000 ft mountain providing majestic views on nearly an acre of botanical gardens.
