Wonderful accommodations from a truly kind host! My 3-night stay with Derek was excellent. The apartment is near a major road with plenty of bus options getting you to the city center in 20 minutes. In fact, I had no problem meeting for a bus tour at 6:45 a.m. from his place. I had great nights of sleep in the cosy room. Along with a warm shower after a long day, Derek found time to offer a cup of tea and biscuits. In short, you will truly feel at home and I highly recommend staying with Derek.

Staying with Dereck was a real pleasure, he has been considerate, helpful, friendly, and respectful, a perfect stay. The mattress could be a little more comfy, but I would definitely recommend staying with him. Thanks a lot!

Lovely, well maintained apartment. Fully equipped kitchen and great facilities, all for a very reasonable price. Derek was a very friendly host and I would certainly recommend booking this place if you're visiting Dublin. He even goes out of his way to meet you at the Luas stop when you first arrive.

Derek is a great host, kind and considerate, and I cannot recommend his place enough. It's as advertised and is very walkable –and has access to the heart of the city through buses and light rail as well. He is a friendly guy and has been hosting travelers for many years.
