Jacky was a welcoming host, and provided for all my needs. The house is extremely clean and he has put up signs to help you do the right thing. The sofa mattress was a bit firm, so he provided me with a pad and it was perfect. Some of the other guests did make a bit of noise (didn't obey the rule re: laundry), but that wasn't the host's fault. The sofa bed is a great option for a solo traveller who is a heavy sleeper. He even held on to my hoody I left behind. Thanks, Jacky!

The host is very kind and the information I got from him was very helpful. The room is always organized. Although it is a bit far from the station, but the environment is quiet and good at night. Also there is a cheap and tasty traditional restaurant nearby. Directions from the station to the room and the way of self check-in may be a bit complicated for those who are not used, but If you read the guide which he sends at the time of booking carefully, it is not difficult. Anyway, I'll be sure to come back here again! =日本人向けレビュー= ホストは主に英語と中国語を話します。日本語は挨拶+α程度ですが、片言の英語ができればコミュニケーションで困る事はありません。 もし全く分からなくても、********翻訳とジェスチャーでなんとかなるでしょう。彼は日本好きなのできっと歓迎してくれますよ。 初めての台湾旅行、初めてのmisterb&b利用なので他と比較できませんが、お勧めできる部屋です! ちなみに、シェアスペースとプライベートスペースはカーテンで仕切られているだけなので、セキュリティ面で不安がある場合や神経質な方には、彼が提供している別のプライベートルームをお勧めします。ただ、シェアスペースにはセンサー式のカメラが複数設置されていて、ホストがしっかり管理していますのでご安心を。 シャンプーやボディーソープなど、最低限のアメニティは揃っていますが、スキンケアイテムなどはないので、必要なら持参するか現地で買った方がいいと思います。 シェアスペースの中で、特にトイレとお風呂(シャワーのみ)の衛生面は気になると思いますが、毎日清掃が入っていて、少なくとも自分は気になりませんでした。シャワーの水圧がちょっと弱いかな?と思ったくらいです。 安易にレビューの良いところを選んでしまったのですが、予想以上にいいところ(ホストも)で良かったです。

Jacky's really an awesome host. You'll have no regrets staying in his beautiful home(which smells great btw). My bf and i had some issues with another bnb, it was close to 10pm, and we needed a place to stay. We texted him on mrbnb and he replied within 20mins accepting our request. He even picked us up from where we were and extended our stay on the fly. Jacky also left us a nice farewell gift. Thoughtful, generous, gracious, are some of the words we'd use to describe Jacky.
