No kitchen in this private 'apartment'. Just living room, dining room, bedroom, and large bathroom - but there's a fridge, microwave, and coffee maker in the 'kitchen-ette". It's separate from our main home, 2nd floor of detached garage. 7 year old construction. Shares 2nd floor patio/breezeway with main home. Many restaurants within a couple of blocks. Smoking is OK outside the unit. Pets are likely OK too, can be discussed. Large screen smart TV, has external HD antenna only in addition to streaming services. No cable, but Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, Disney+, and lots other accounts are available or log yourself in to play your fav streaming service. Xbox also available. We welcome our gay travelers and can offer useful advice for what to do while in town whether you're interested in general activities, or LGBTQ activities. Keurig Coffee maker and K-cups are complimentary. Refrigerator is available to purchase in-stock items from it and/or keep your own items in it. Microwave oven is also available.

This is the home, and separate guest quarters, of Jeffrey and Richard Wacaser. Been together 25 years and enjoy meeting the travelers passing through our delightfully great city. There's a 2nd story breezeway between the unit and our home, which you see in the pictures. So the rental is totally private, no shared space other than the breezeway. We have 3 cats who like to lounge on the deck when we're out there. It's covered, has comfortable cushioned furniture, has ceiling fans, and a heater when it's chilly.

River Oaks and Montrose Bars, Clubs, and Restaurants are within easy walking distance. City park across the street with jogging trail. free tennis courts, playground, and ballfield. Metro bus line is one block away. Panera Bread is at the end of the street 7 doors down. Rentable bicycles offered by the city are parked close enough to walk to them to rent. Waugh Drive Bat Colony is close. Lots of great restaurants of most every flavor are in this immediate vicinity.

Closely populated and dense neighborhood, so noise level should be kept polite and non-intrusive. No parties or extracurricular hosting is allowed, maybe too much traffic for a safe and private area. Pets are likely OK, all pet waste must be picked up per city ordinance. There's a park across the street that's used extensively by pet owners. Also has free tennis courts, jogging trail, playground, and ball field. Did I say it's right across the street? NIce place, great neighborhood and very convenient to most everything you'll want to do in Houston. We do not welcome the heavy partiers and excessively late night revelers. It's disruptive to others in our peaceful little neighborhood. Owner will gladly do laundry for guests if requested.

Perfect description. Fantastic location. Wonderful and welcoming hosts. The bed is super comfortable as are the sofas in the living room. Street parking is easy. Great value, too.

Jeffrey & Richard were great hosts, and we enjoyed staying in their apartment. It was exactly as it had been described. Conveniently located, quiet, and comfortable. We recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Houston.

This is honestly the best room I've ever rented off of this app. Jeffrey and his husband or some of the coolest and most accommodating hosts I've ever met. They always had tons of recommendations for bars and restaurants to go to, they were super easy to chat with and the laundry service was a HUGE help. You cannot find a better room for this price either. Any time I find myself back in Houston I fully intend to book with them again!

Jeffrey and Richard are knowledgeable and friendly. Jeffrey thinks of everything and is great at details. I forgot my shaver but he had disposable ones in stock. I walked to Barnes and Noble and 3 places to eat: Juiceland, Eugene's and La Guadalupano. I used Bissonnet to get to The 410 restaurant in Bellaire and also to get to Cleburne's Cafeteria. I love my visits here and the hosts are thoughtful and resourceful. Great bed and great coffee

This is my third visit to this apartment, and it gets better every time. Jeffrey continues to enhance the experience and is very accommodating. Cool artwork is added to the walls, and I discover new comforts. The location is excellent. Close to everything and yet across the street from a neighborhood park. Thanks!

Absolutely Wonderful Stay! They were both incredibly kind, welcoming, and made my partner and I feel right at home . On top of their fantastic hospitality, they gave us great recommendations for local food and bars. If you get a chance to stay here, definitely take their advice on where to go! I can't recommend them enough and would gladly stay here again.
