The Reveal

Come and discover an elegant, cozy contemporary Andalusian - inspired home just 25 minutes away from Fez-SAIS airport; totally restored by Audrey Vermeersch - interior designer.

Anata Riad’s modern comfort inspires relaxation in a magic place. The place's style and energy accompanies the traveler in his quest for serenity and spirituality. Everything was thought of and executed to offer the guest the freedom to get fresh ideas and relax with a glass of fresh mint tea. The lounge (patio) has got a well-supplied library where you can enjoy your reading and spiritual exodus.

Each of the five rooms is a haven of peace... you will enjoy high quality beds, hearty breakfast, faultless service and a top roof terrace overhanging the medina (old city).

Breakfast or dinner will be served at your choice on the terrace or in the patio. Enjoy the sweetness of Fez golden light on our deck. At sunset, refresh yourself in our wading pool while enjoying the view over the medina.

Important aspect, Anata Riad is ideally located in the prime touristic area of the medina. 2 steps from Place Batha and its 'little red cabs' and 100m from a secure parking... No need to walk down alleyways in the medina to reach it.

Happiness is within reach!

I am a 45 years old, Belgian globetrotter, long-standing love affair with Africa and especially Morocco :) Brought to Fez by the fortunes of life, I immediately fell under the charm of the city. The city completely bowled me over. Initially, I wanted to create a simple home, intimate and friendly where I could come to relax and recharge with family and friends. However, with my passionate nature and as someone who likes to introduce others to my discoveries, I decided to open a charming guest-house and to share my passion for travel and culture. Riad Anata is a real project from the heart and a beautiful human adventure that started in 2008. Fez is home to Al Quaraouiyine University, considered the oldest university in the world still in operation. Fez is a spiritual, authentic and mysterious city. As soon as you confirm booking I will send you my 24 PAGES Travel Booklet so you can see Fez trough my eyes and make the most of it ( Foubdouk Baazar, Ishq, Jardin Des Biehn, Riad Fez ...) Don't miss as well the beauty rituals from Maghreb, great opportunity to reconnect with a natural beauty regime and organic products: black soap to ex-foliate, purifying Rasul, Argan oil to moisturise... ( Riad Laaroussa, Naussika Spa, ...) Or spend an afternoon with us COOKING TRADITIONAL MOROCCAN FOOD WITH SAMIRA our GREAT CHEF :)

We felt very welcoming and special during our stay. Hospitable and kind hosts as well as gay friendly. Delicious moroccan breakfast on the surprising rooftop. Showering like in a hammam with nice aromatic products. Bedroom beautifully designed and comfortable. One of the best stays to be remembered during our road trip trough Morocco.

My stay at the Riad was absolutely amazing. Valerie has been a true gem since our initial connection. She went beyond her way to ensure that my queries were answered even before I made my decision to stay at the Riad. The Riad was superb. From the lovely design to the cleanliness, to the amazing staff (Sara and Said) who looked after my needs throughout my entire stay. It was a bummer that I only got to stay for a short time, but it was little wonder why it was in so high demand. Note to self: Book early in the future! (haha!) The location was fantastic and I finally got to find my way easily as the old Medina is truly a maze. I personally felt that the location is also at a much safer place too. I am truly thankful that I got to experience living in this Riad and getting acquainted with the wonderful people. Thank you thank you thank you Valerie, Sara, Said, and team for making me feel at home! I would highly recommend this Riad to anyone. Serendipity! xxx
