CASA ROMAN BOUTIQUE HOTEL - ROOM 107

Excellent hotel, close to the historic center!

Accommodation is more like B&B. Now they are in the middle of the renovations of the casa/"hotel". At the check in the bathroom was not cleaned enough (full of long dark hairs). We were all three days without hot water, few hours without water. The water drain in the shower was also blocked on day. Our room was without day light. For the gym - there is only for one person and you need to go the same time as the owner - so not very useful

I traveled with a friend and we both enjoyed staying at Diego’s place. We found the location to be great, the street is quiet so it is easy to sleep at night. From his place you can reach the sparkling neighborhood of Getsemani in a 10-15-minute walk, and the Walled City of Old Cartagena in a 20-25 minute walk. Perfect for us, as we like walking and sightseeing a lot. We enjoyed breakfast every day. The room is good; it’s got a small fridge, air conditioning and a Smart TV. The place was undergoing some renovations and was a bit noisy during the day, but Diego had informed us about that in advance. As for the host, Diego is friendly and hospitable. We didn’t interact much as he is a busy person, but we met upon our arrival; and we also met briefly one or two other times during our time there. Although we did not meet much in person, he sent messages to us during our stay to check if everything was going well. He also gave us some recommendations on things to do, and helped us book a day trip around the islands. In sum, it’s a place I really recommend.

The place is beautiful, the service is very good, the staff is friendly, modern rooms that are different, good Wi-Fi and great food (I recommend the breakfast). Also, the hotel is close to the sea and the historic center. Thank you Diego, you get 100

I really enjoyed staying with Diego. The place was clean and everything working well. I just could enjoy the breakfast one day but meals were perfect, I liked the omelette and the coffee was really good. The place is not close downtown but you can reach downtown by walking. If you want to save time a cab should be recommended but I think the place is well located to visit all touristic places in Cartagena. To note the nearest place is the Getsemani neighborhood.
