We have a stunning off-grid spot with a 300 hectare operating farm, a private beach, a cute little studio space, outdoor fire-bath, large vegetable gardens and fruit orchard, great surf, and the funky little surf town of Raglan 30 minutes away. We host New Zealand's main 'Radical Faerie Gathering' each Autumn, and most years run a small music festival on the farm.
Note: As we are off grid there are some systems here that are unconventional for city dwellers. We have two showers; one indoors and one outdoors, we have two fire heated outdoor baths in which you can recline and gaze at the stars, and a dry system composting toilet. We generate our own electricity so high drain devices (like a hair dryer) may need to only be used at certain times. Otherwise we do have high speed internet, and are pretty civilized... :-)

We have loads of space so it would be a challenge to disturb the neighbors, but being a working farm you are also entering our work space so being respectful in terms of noise late at night. Our bedroom is a loft space in the main house, so we ask that people leave this space and go to the cabin by 9pm at night.
