Upon first arrival, I was immediately fascinated by how tucked away a large house could be, it's far enough from the city to make you feel like you're in the rainforest and close enough to make you feel like a local. The neon rainbow sign was the first piece of evidence that Koromiko would be my new sanctuary for the next 10 days - I feel like I discovered a whole new version of myself here. Thank you to the people who made it feel like home. There aren't enough words to describe it."

Special and unexpected was joining them both for dinner out the first night and spending NY eve together.
Also Ger giving up nearly an entire day to show me around Oamaru.
Couldn't ask for more accommodating hosts. They are a special pair and I hope to see more of them in future"

His place is right near Ponsonby Road which is a great neighborhood to eat, drink & shop. Kerry is just great, super nice, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about New Zealand and Auckland in particular, especially with regards to restaurants and city walks. Would definitely stay again when in Auckland."
