Tony is an amazing host — kind, welcoming, and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. He took the time to show us around and made sure we felt comfortable and knew everything we needed. A beautiful home and Tony is a lovely caring host. The garden is superb as is the location alongside the Tongariro river. Our bedroom was very spacious with a private veranda and spotlessly clean and tidy. A perfect place to stay

Ideal mid-way between Auckland and Wellington stopover point at Tony's sprawling property, off State Highway 1 and a short drive to Turangi town. Excellent base to explore the volcanic plateau, or even just the Tokaanu hot pools and springs for a soak. Good pub grub in the town too. The accommodation was a spacious bedroom, with view of the large garden, with ensuite and wooden deck. Breakfast provided, and Tony will tell you all about the local amenities. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely experience at Tony's. Tony's place is in a great location and the accommodations are far better than the local motels. Tony is wonderful company. We would highly recommend!

Tony's charming home is set in beautiful private gardens and the huge bedroom opens onto a private deck. Excellent shower fits two! The location is well suited to anyone wanting to take a break from main highway driving or as a destination in itself as it is close to a very good restaurant and not far from hot pools. Our generous hosts made us feel welcome and we would like to come again. Highly recommended and excellent value.

Tony is a great host. His place is a real gem. Private and quiet. Backs onto the Tongoriro River. Great if you fish. The quiet sound of the water while soaking in the hot tub at the end of the day sipping a cool drink was a real treat. I think anyone who stays here would enjoy the place. Breakfast was simple and perfect. Thank you Tony for opening your house to us. It was a wonderful first booking on Mister BnB. Would stay here again
