The Reveal
Our spacious one bedroom carriage house is completely private - a comfortable oasis in one of St. Louis's best neighborhoods. The unit is on the second floor of a late 19th century garage and includes an open floor plan for kitchen, dining room, and living room, a very large bedroom (including queen bed, walk in closet, sitting area, and a bistro table with seating for two), bathroom, pantry, and dedicated laundry with washer and dryer.
There is a sizable yard featuring patio furniture, a hammock, and fire pit available for shared use as well. The unit is pet-friendly, as are we. We have two 40-pound dogs (a beagle and a terrier) and just ask that if you are bringing dogs of your own, we have a puppy meet and greet in the yard upon your arrival so that our fur babies can know who they'll be sharing the yard with for a few days.
There is plentiful free street parking and from here you are a short walk from tons of great restaurants, galleries, shops, and more.

I travel for both business and pleasure. When for business, I'm usually traveling solo. When for pleasure, I'm usually traveling with my husband. I work in communications and the arts and he works in IT.
We love to explore new places when we travel and get to know a community beyond just the normal tourist attractions. Upcoming trips include San Francisco, Portland, Des Moines, Italy, and San Diego.
We've served as hosts on another similar vacation home sharing site, welcoming guests to our carriage house in St. Louis. If we can figure out how to get the calendars from the two services to talk to each other, we may well start hosting on here too!

As a former resident of St Louis, it was great to be back and stay in this historic part of town. The carriage house was very private and had everything we could have needed.

I had an amazing stay. The carriage house was very spacious and easy to access via the backyard. Parking is always available and checking in/out was a breeze. Thanks for everything!

Very beautiful place, it was truly a home away from home and only wish I could have stayed much longer! Joe left a very informative and descriptive folder of everything I could need. Our dogs had a lovely time and we got to meet Joe and Kraig's sweet dogs! This is one of the most fabulous b&b we've stayed in and have added it to our favorites for future stays.

Wonderful location, easy access to the major neighborhoods and dining. The carriage house is super quiet, and is well stocked for longer stays. We enjoyed learning the history of the carriage house.

We had a very lovely stay at Joe and Kraig's carriage house. The location was convenient for walking to area shops and restaurants. The apartment was very spacious and had everything we needed. Joe offered us flexible check in and out and was extremely friendly and attentive. We highly recommend staying there.
