Check-in and check-out are flexible, except when check-in and check-out take place on the same day. In that case, check-in starts at 6pm and check-out must be completed by 11am. Exceptions to this rule can be agreed upon request. The house is a non-smoking property. The tenant(s) are responsible for all damage caused to the property by themselves, their family or their visitors. During the rental period, the tenant is responsible for ensuring access, for example, that doors and windows are properly closed and locked when leaving the house. The tenant is also obliged to keep the house and furniture tidy and clean and to treat all furniture with due care. The tenant may use the kitchen for cooking, but it must remain tidy after use. The tenant can use the washing machine on request and the shower freely. The tenant does not have the right to accommodate more people, or different people, than those indicated in the rental contract without the express permission of the host. In the event of non-compliance, the host has the right to refuse these people or to adjust the rent according to the actual number of guests. In the interests of residents and neighbors, noise limits and the usual rules of behavior in residential areas apply. The tenant undertakes to keep the sound volume moderate and to respect the usual rest periods. The host has the right to terminate the rental agreement with immediate effect and to demand the immediate departure of guests if they seriously violate their duty of care towards the rented property, in particular if they take in other people and/or pets, or if they deliberately damage the rented property, or if they endanger the property or disturb the neighbors with their behavior. By accepting the booking confirmation, the guest acknowledges the validity of the booking conditions as binding. For both parties, the place of contractual performance and jurisdiction is the city of Lisbon. Portuguese law applies. Although I have laid down certain rules above, I don't expect any problems. To date, all my guests have been very friendly. What's more, they've all enjoyed their stay!
