The residence is operated as a guesthouse between September and May but closed for 2 months in winter for you to come and privately enjoy the 180° view over false bay with the best sunrises, semi-professional kitchen, all rooms with sea view with smart flat screen TV's, Nespresso coffee maker in all rooms, full bathrooms (with bath and shower) and high-speed uncapped wifi.

The residence is perfect for family getaways, a few friends for a get together or simply to work remotely... the possibilities are endless and what happens at Residence William French, stays at Residence William French.

Host recommendations

We do not have many rules and want guests to enjoy themselves during their stay. We must please ask that there is no smoking or vaping inside the residence, we have ashtrays available for smoking/vaping outside. Power is in short supply and really expensive in South Africa, air conditioning is the most costly appliance, so please use it sparingly. A fair use of electricity for the house is assessed at 60 units per day which I will supply, anything over and above will be for your account.
