Vila Sossego

The accommodation is perfectly clean, like new. Miguel and Emanuel were not present when we arrived but the check-in went smoothly remotely. They are available and responsive in providing all information and advice about activities and interesting places in the surrounding area. The village is somewhat out of the way but is only a few minutes' drive from Faro and the beaches. And in any case, a car is essential for visiting the Algarve, so it's not really a problem. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, even though it could use a small cleaning. However, there are a few minor issues to mention. We would have appreciated knowing upon our arrival that basic items (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar) were available in the communal laundry room. Perhaps this information should be added to the welcome sheet found in the Vila? Having seen nothing in the apartment itself, we bought some and left them when we departed, barely used. Furthermore, we were frequently bothered around the pool by many flies and an unpleasant smell probably coming from the fields around the house (manure?) or a waste treatment center that apparently is located in the village.

Emanuel and Miguel's Case Edon is a dreamy paradise for anyone looking for a perfect gay vacation in Algarve. It feels like resort living with all modern amenities included (like kitchenette in your room, good sized and secluded swimming pool and jacuzzi, outdoor BBQ, and plenty of safe parking space). Emanuel also provides very detailed recommendations on sightseeing places to make traveling easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend Case Edon and are already thinking about our return visit 😀

Emanuel and Miguel are amazing hosts! They are extremely helpful, providing us with all sorts of tips and recommendations, always being available, and making the check in and out process incredibly easy. We cannot recommend their place enough! Their villa is spotless clean and with all the amenities one may need. A true hidden gem in Faro! We will be back again!

You feel welcome from the very start, the place is spotless, well appointed and has everything needed or even more. The pool area is lovely and let's you enjoy the sun, the photos are very accurate and reflect the true state of the property. The setting has a tranquil feel to it, countryside kind of living with roosters crowing in the morning. Short drive to Faro and other local towns, beach and a shopping centre. Any questions or requests you have, these lovely guys will deal with immediately. Pleasure to have stayed there, would love to return.

Emanuel and Miguel are very friendly and helpful and make you feel home at Edon. It's very nice there. The composition of calm countryside and short distance to Faro, Loulé, supermarkets and beautiful beaches is very convenient. If you want you can also relax at home at the pool or jacuzzi and the comfortable appartment. The appartment is fully equipped and super tidy. All great. Thank you both We will be back one day 😎

These hosts are amazing, they accommodated my early check-in and allowed me to stay later by the pool when I checked out. All was very clean and polished and state-of-the-art and the personal details and touches were beyond my expectations for Portugal and as a host myself. I recommend them 5 STARS! Thanks, MM

This is a perfect place to stay and rest. The house Sossego is really nice with all equipments mentionned. Moreover, we appreciate sharing with E & M, there are respectful and very kind. Can't wait to come again and enjoy Algarve area. Thanks a lot!
