This is our apartment and we love it. We would be happy to rent it while we're traveling to a cat lover person who doesn't mind taking care of our 2 cute cats. That's why we charge relatively low price for a great duplex with a beautiful terrace.
The apartment is a 70 square meter duplex with a 30 square meter roof terrace (and 2 cute cats).
The entrance is on the 2nd floor of a small 4 units building.
The lower floor: a big bedroom with great panoramic view, 160*190 double bed and a private toilet en-suit; a bathroom with toilet and a bath/shower; a small bedroom with a 140*190 bed; a small walk-in wardrobe; and a well equipped kitchen with a small dining table. The second floor: living room with direct access to a big beautiful roof terrace, where you can relax and enjoy a great open view of the neighborhood and Tel-Aviv city center.

Shapira is not considered to be a touristic area. As well as other southern neighborhoods (south from Jaffa Road) Shapira is a working class neighborhood with a unique flavor that is quite different from the 'white city' image Tel Aviv has (or tries to sell). Shapira is a charming and quiet neighborhood with a mix of small houses and 2-4 stories buildings, small streets and a lay-back atmosphere. Shapira is today the most varied populated neighborhood in Tel-Aviv. Originally settled by Jewish immigrants from Greece and Bukhara. Today, besides those communities you can find almost everything: hipsters, young professionals, Orthodox Jewish families, immigrants from all over the world and in recent years a big community of asylum seekers from Eritrea. Shapira is a great place to stay in Tel Aviv if you are looking to be quite close to everything and on the same time willing to discover some more alternative facets of Tel Aviv.
From the apartment you can easily reach all the main attractions in Tel-Aviv without a car. You just can walk, ride a bicycle or use public transportation. Anyways, If you are interested in using a car, we have our own parking place in the building. The apartment is located within approximately 10 min. walk from trendy Florentine and 15 min. walk from Rothschild boulevard in the center. To the beach, or to the Old city of Jaffa it's approximately a 30 min. walk. The apartment is located 5 min. walk from the Central Bus Station and 10 min. walk from the Ha-HaAgana Rail Station. near the Central Bus Station you can find shared taxis that quickly reach the center and other beaches (line 4-5). if you want to travel outside the city, you can easily reach any place in Israel by Bus, share taxi ("Sherut") or train. Jerusalem and Haifa are about an hour away.
