Welcome to this little oasis in the Ranstad area! I rent a minimalistic, cozy, bedroom in a quiet residential area for a peaceful stay. The room has a private terrace overlooking the roofs of the neighborhood, a wardrobe, and a desk in case you need to work. Bathroom, Kitchen, and Living Room are shared. My place is close to main supermarkets, bus stop, and the city center of Voorschoten. Voorschoten is a well-connected city with beautiful, green surroundings and conveniently located between Den Haag, Leiden, Rotterdam, and Amsterdam. The lake 'Vlietland' is five min walk and it's perfect for jogging or a swim in summer! Schiphol Airport is door to door 45 min (train 1 stop, 16 min + bus 15 min + time in between transports).

There are not many places with a huge lake just behind your place! Voorschoten is a wonderful, nature-oriented Dutch city. It is also very quiet, and it has many trekking opportunities if you like walking or riding the bike. Bus 5 or 45 leave you very close to my place, and both buses go directly to Leiden or the Hague. As a museum, I'd recommend Voorlinden - it's just a bike ride away. There are free parking spaces where I live and it is very easy to go to the highway if needed, but with the bike, you should get around very easily! I have an extra bike in case you need to go around visit Leiden or do groceries!
