He's so friendly and was more than helpful with getting a familiar with the city during our short stay. He even let us borrow an umbrella It's close to the metro and the tram. Near a lot of shops and restaurants. Amsterdam is very walkable and bike friendly, so getting around is simple. Definitely saving his listing next time we visit Amsterdam."

Peter was an amazing host incredibly friendly, welcoming and engaging. I really enjoyed the conversations we had when we were hanging out together, and he made me feel very comfortable in his home.
He also went above and beyond to help me out during my stay. I really wanted a bicycle to get around Rotterdam, and Peter fixed one of his spare bikes so that I could use it. I really appreciated that, it made exploring the city so much easier and was such a thoughtful thing for him to do.
I also appreciated that he invited me to join him and his volleyball friends one evening. Unfortunately the plans changed and it didnât happen, but I appreciated the gesture and how inclusive he was.
The location is honestly hard to beat. Peterâs place is right in the heart of Rotterdam and only about a 2â3 minute walk from Rotterdam Blaak station, depending on how much luggage youâre carrying! There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and if you prefer to cook like I did, there are also grocery stores within easy reach.
The apartment itself is beautiful, and there is something pretty special about being able to say you stayed inside one of Rotterdamâs most iconic landmarks.
A some practical things worth mentioning, there are quite a few stairs to reach the bedroom, so this may be worth considering if you have knee, leg or mobility issues.
There was also some construction taking place nearby during my stay, it wasnât particularly disruptive for me as it wasnât heavy banging or anything like that. There was also no construction noise over the weekend. If youâre particularly sensitive to noise, it may be worth checking with Peter beforehand to see whether the work is still going on.
Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic stay. Peter is a wonderful host, the location is exceptional, and staying in the Cube Houses made the experience even more memorable. I would 100% stay with him again."
