How much more iconic can you get than staying in the Cube Houses? Peter was an amazing host incredibly friendly, welcoming and engaging. I really enjoyed the conversations we had when we were hanging out together, and he made me feel very comfortable in his home. He also went above and beyond to help me out during my stay. I really wanted a bicycle to get around Rotterdam, and Peter fixed one of his spare bikes so that I could use it. I really appreciated that, it made exploring the city so much easier and was such a thoughtful thing for him to do. I also appreciated that he invited me to join him and his volleyball friends one evening. Unfortunately the plans changed and it didn’t happen, but I appreciated the gesture and how inclusive he was. The location is honestly hard to beat. Peter’s place is right in the heart of Rotterdam and only about a 2–3 minute walk from Rotterdam Blaak station, depending on how much luggage you’re carrying! There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and if you prefer to cook like I did, there are also grocery stores within easy reach. The apartment itself is beautiful, and there is something pretty special about being able to say you stayed inside one of Rotterdam’s most iconic landmarks. A some practical things worth mentioning, there are quite a few stairs to reach the bedroom, so this may be worth considering if you have knee, leg or mobility issues. There was also some construction taking place nearby during my stay, it wasn’t particularly disruptive for me as it wasn’t heavy banging or anything like that. There was also no construction noise over the weekend. If you’re particularly sensitive to noise, it may be worth checking with Peter beforehand to see whether the work is still going on. Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic stay. Peter is a wonderful host, the location is exceptional, and staying in the Cube Houses made the experience even more memorable. I would 100% stay with him again.

Peter was again a wonderful host for this color- and wonderful house. it was very tidy. communication is very clear, all my questions and requests were answered swiftly. Peter is very social, he showed me around some nice places. would most def recommend!!

Peter is a very kind and welcoming, trustful person. His apartment is very special regarding the architecture, the room was clean and comfortable. I loved to be there. I can recommend it to you. The location is great too. Access by train is really easy.

I spent a wonderful week in Rotterdam at Peter's place. First of all, it is a house with remarkable architecture — you are literally living inside a work of art. Second, the host Peter is incredibly kind, caring and attentive. I still regret that I couldn't join him and his friends for a volleyball game one Friday. Third, it is the most conveniently located place in the city: one minute from the metro and train station, one minute from the main food market, ten minutes from the waterfront, and twenty minutes from the central station. I will happily come back to Rotterdam again.

My experience staying at Peter's place was fantastic. The communication before arrival was good, I got to meet him when checking in and we had a very good chat, he's very friendly and nice. He suggested me some good spots to go for sightseeing and meals. His apartment is beautiful and comfy, I always wanted to stay at cubehouse and staying at his was the best choice I made! I would definitely stay here again if I visit Rotterdam next time.

I had a very comfortable stay at this iconic and very gezellig little house. Peter could not have been a better host. The house truly is the perfect place to discover the architectural playground that is Rotterdam. Would most definitely recommend!!

A lovely stay in a remarkable house. Peter welcomed us upon arrival and showed us the house and its special features. A good bed and great shower, comfortable kitchen for morning coffee, we didn't cook. The little sunny terrace upstairs was a nice surprise. I recommend it.

The house is centric and next to everything. In addition, staying in a cube house is a unique experience! Communication with Peter was perfect and he is very flexible for the accommodation
