Private bedroom in central located Rotterdam penthouse with wellness facilities.
The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Rotterdam, Scheepvaartkwartier, in the building the Caland Residence. This is a monument from 1852 and used to be a wine warehouse.
You can book a private bedroom at our home. All other areas in our penthouse apartment are shared with the hosts, like the bathroom, kitchen, living room and rooftop terraces.
You will enter the apartment on the 4th floor. On this floor you will find the living room with working fireplace with open kitchen where we serve you the breakfast. You will also find the big shared bathroom with bath, rain shower and sauna (access is via our bedroom). You will also find a separate toilet on this floor.
In the living room you will find stairs to the 5th floor where the guestroom is located under the roof. The guestroom is small and has a double bed, but you will have plenty of space on the rest of the floor. Here you will also find a minibar and free coffee (Nespresso) and tea facilities. On this floor you will also find a dedicated workspace and separate seating area and the access to the rooftops. On the lower rooftop you will have full privacy and you will be protected from the wind. This is also where the heated jacuzzi (365 days a year) is located. From this terrace you can also go up to the next terrace where you have an amazing view over the city of Rotterdam and you can see the Erasmusbridge, Euromast and the river Maas.
In the morning we serve you a full breakfast which is included in the price. We try to cater for any specific dietary requirements or preferences. In the evening we can also serve a 4 course dinner with South African wines for 20 Euro per person (please let us know in advance).
After a day of sightseeing in Rotterdam, you are more than welcome to use the sauna in the bathroom and the jacuzzi on the rooftop to relax.
We will be more than happy to help you plan your visit to Rotterdam or The Netherlands in general.
We are very flexible with checkin and checkout times during the weekend, but as we are both working , we need to plan in advance for weekdays.

The river Maas is one block away from our place and is it's very near to Erasmusbrug. The museums are all very near including the amazing Depot from Boymans van Beuningen which offers an amazing reflection of the city skyline in its outside mirroirs. The shopping area of Rotterdam is about 15 minutes walk away.
Bob is chairman of the Rotterdam LGBTQ+ sportclub Ketelbinkie, you join them for a run?
Ferry is a gaybar at walking distance, you can for there for a drink, quick meal or to party at night.
