Great experience! James was a wonderful host, had helpful sightseeing suggestions, and is also a great cook and provided meals. Very relaxing stop on a long road trip.
James exceeded all standards for highest service and attentiveness - I have never experienced such a devoted host - ensuring the customer's highest satisfaction was realized. The extremely reasonable accommodations were exactly as described and the location was perfect for trips to Porcupine Mountains, Copper Harbor, various hiking, mining adventures and waterfall scenic opportunities. James provided personal tour guides as well as cooking/providing home cooked meals all week. On a scale of 1-5 my experience was a 10+!
James was a wonderful host. Kind and friendly, great communication. He is happy to provide ideas about things to do in the area and also willing to respect my personal space. The home/room was cozy and clean. And breakfast was a plus!
James was a nice and generous host. His place was conveniently located for my travels. It was as described and custom made pancakes in the morning was a lovely unexpected delicious surprise.
James is absolutely wonderful, great cook too, he provides breakfast for you. Excellent at communicating with you throughout the process. He's a great host and a nice guy to boot. His collection of books will amaze you. He been to many places around the world too, which was fun to discuss. Don't expect too much from the city though, it is small and has several nice local restaurants, two of which I ate at and enjoyed. The Lake Superior beach is not far either.
