Walk through a quiet Old Florida neighborhood with 1950's style beach homes adorned with palm trees and tropical flowers on your 6 minute stroll to pristine Golden Beach. The 2 BR/1.5 bath bungalow welcomes you as your perfect action-packed or relaxation packed home away.

You can grab a sandwich from my favorite little French bakery Croissant & Co. in downtown before you head to the beach! Downtown Venice, with its restaurants and shops, is quick bike ride away, and has everything you need for your beach experience. Beach chairs, towels and a cooler are provided for convenience and ease, just as life should be at the beach. Bike rentals are available with a simple phone call, and they even deliver right to your door. If you prefer to drive to the beach, I have that covered also with a pass to use during your stay for the parking lot at the private beach access.

This very comfortable 2-3 bedroom, mid century home, has a fully equipped kitchen with anything you might need. The open floor plan, comfortable sofa in the living room connected with the dining and kitchen areas, provides for a relaxing evening after a day at the beach. Make sure you experience the sunset - I try to get there every evening. I love it so much!

Looking for a work ready space? This office space is ready for you to work or study virtually, and has a designated desk, monitor and printer ready to go for your convenience. Make sure you bring a hub for your laptop so you can get connected right away if your goal is to work "in your spare time" between enjoying the beach and other Venice sights. The home is equipped with Xfinity wifi. Should you need additional workspace, the spacious kitchen table or the extra folding computer desk can provide just what you need.

The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the second bedroom also has a king sized bed. The office space is equipped with a twin trundle if you need additional sleeping space.

The whole house is full of light, but if you need to take a nap in the afternoon the window coverings provide pleasant shade.

Please, feel free to bring your beloved pet. They also deserve a break. You and your dog can socialize and enjoy the beach together at a dedicated dog park only a five minute drive away. Personally, I enjoy taking my dogs for an evening walk to the benches at the Golden Beach access to enjoy the beautiful sunsets.

****Other things to note This is a lovely duplex, the units being separated in the middle by a double carport that is converted into an enclosed screened porch. I live on one side part-time and you will find only wonderful people stay here :-)
